WhatsApp Will Not Support On These Phones From 31 December

WhatApp Will not longer supported by the following phones from 31st December 2016.

This is bad news for the old smartphones users who are using WhatsApp on their old smartphones. WhatsApp will stop supporting such device who is old and have the old operating system.

There is also a good news too. WhatsApp is not block the user who have old smartphones, They will not get any new updations from WhatsApp. Means they can't enjoy the new featue of WhatApp. They have to stuck with the old feature of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp on its official blog said “As we look ahead to our next seven years, we want to focus our efforts on the mobile platforms the vast majority of people use. So, by the end of 2016, we will be ending support for WhatsApp Messenger on the following mobile platforms”.


 The devices that will no longer get support from WhatsApp are:

1. BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10
2. Nokia S40
3. Nokia Symbian S60
4. Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
5. Windows Phone 7.1
6. iPhone 3GS/iOS 6

 WhatsApp in the blog said, “This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp.”

So the suggestion for the old user is to update their old smatphones with the new one and enjoy the new features of WhatsApp and remain upto date.
